Urmila sheds sexy image

Mumbai, Oct 14: The sexy diva of Bollywood, Urmila Matondakar has now moved past her raunchy image. She has become very choosy about the films she wants to do. The usual bump grind stuff and the mushy romances don't enthuse her anymore. So the actress has been very cautiously picking up meaty roles only. While Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi's partition drama 'Pinjar' is ready to hit the theatres and has already been received well at this year's IFFI, Urmila is anxiously looking forward to Ramgopal Varma's urban thriller 'Ek Hasina Thi'. Another film that will see Urmila in a challenging role is Khalid Mohammad's 'Tehzeeb' that has her playing the daughter to Shabana Azmi. Also add to the list Tanuja Chandra's English film which will be a love story set against the backdrop of the 9/11 tragedy. "It's a very sensitive film," says Urmila, who seem to have come of age as an actress.
