Soha makes her debut 

          Sharmila Tagore and Tiger Pataudi's daughter Soha Ali Khan will be finally making her debut in director Ananth Mahadevan's 'Dil Maange More' opposite Shahid Kapoor. The film was formally launched last night, at Triple Six, a suburban Mumbai pub amidst the entire star cast as well as media personalities.The film also stars Raima Sen and model turned actress Ayesha Takiya. Soha plays a small town girl who comes to Mumbai and discovers love when she meets Shahid. The film has many different shades to it.

Anant's 'Dil Maange More'

           Actor and director Ananth Mahadevan is hopeful that the audiences will like his film 'Dil Maange More', like his earlier film 'Dil Vil Pyaar Vyaar' which was India's first retro musical. This film is an out and out entertainer with a youthful backdrop and some wonderful music by Himesh Reshmiya. The film stars Shahid Kapoor, Soha Ali Khan, Raima sen and Ayesha Takiya. Lead actor Shahid feels that this film rightly jells with his persona and it would be blast working for this film. Though he did not say much about his role, he says he is playing himself in the film and hope he does a good job of it. The film will be shot in Mumbai as it is based there only, and the shooting will start in June-July. The film will hit the theatres later this year.

'Paap' Premiers at Fun Republic 

           Pooja Bhatt's 'Paap' is finally hitting theatres this week and was premiered at Mumbai's 'Fun Republic' yesterday amidst the entire star cast. The highlight of the film was the whole Bhatt family coming together for the first time. Pooja is very excited about the film. The film explores female sexuality for the first time on screen. She hopes to continue making different films with a commercial angle. She says it is her father who actually gave the genesis of 'Paap' to her.

Udita's monk act! 

           Udita Goswami, the heroine of the this week's release 'Paap', seemed a little nervous but confident that 'Paap' is the right launch for her. She plays a Buddhist on the way to become a monk who discovers love and sexuality when she meets a guy. Udita hopes that 'Paap' is liked by the audiences. The film releases this week nation-wide and it seems it would certainly be appreciated for it's form and content.

John's bare torso! 

          The hottest flavour of the season, John Abraham plays Delhi bred cop, Shiven, in 'Paap' who accidentally falls in love with a girl in a monastery in Spiti. As the raunchy posters of 'Paap' sugget, there is a lot of skin show by John in this film as well. John shares a fantastic rapport with Pooja Bhatt with whom he had worked in Jism. He hopes Paap will create the same magic.

Vijay Pat Singhania's first film! 

           Noted Industrialist and owner of JK Industries, Dr Vijay Pat Singhania, has turned producer and is ready with his maiden venture, 'Woh Tera Naam Tha', releasing this week. The film marks the return of the Muslim socials of 1950s and 1960 with a love story as the backdrop. The film is directed by Kuku Kohli and stars many new-comers like models Gaurav Chanana, Telugu actor Arjan Bajwa with Kanchi Kaul and Shalini Pal along with Amrish Puri and Prem Chopra in the main lead. Singer-turned director Roop Kumar Rathod has given the music of the film. The release of the film was marked with a party by Dr. Singhania at his JK House, where the entire cast of the film was present. But the highlight of the evening was Pakistani singer Reshma, who has sung a song in the film.
