Naveen Jindal flies an F-18 aircraft at Aero India 2009

Bangalore: Congress MP and industrialist Naveen Jindal flew in an American F-18 combat aircraft at the Aero India 2009 on Saturday. Since 2004, Naveen has been representing the Kurukshetra constituency of Haryana in the Parliament. An industrialist with interest in rail, steel and power businesses, he represents the Congress. Apart from other foreign companies taking part in the air show, China is officially participating in the event for the first time. India, fast becoming one of the world's biggest arms importers, has plans to modernise its air force, the fourth largest in the world, to cope with possible security threats in the region.
