Kingfisher Airlines ties up with
Disney publishing
Mumbai:
Kingfisher Airlines, India's first and only 5-Star
airline, today forged a special relationship with
Disney Publishing, the largest publisher of children's
books and magazines in the world, to bring them on-board
its Kids Programme, Little Wings. Kingfisher Airlines
introduced a whole slew of activities to keep its
young Guests occupied and entertained on-board with
a specially designed in-flight activity magazine,
in-flight entertainment and special Disney give-aways.
Disney Kids, comprehensive Children's magazine will
be made available to Kingfisher Airlines young Guests,
aged between 0-14 years, on all its schedule flights.
Commenting on this alliance, Vikram Malhotra, Head
- Marketing, Kingfisher Airlines Limited, said, "Kingfisher
Airlines is a family friendly airline and we believe
that children are valuable guests. "Keeping that thought
in mind and to ensure that our young Guests have an
exciting and enjoyable flight, Kingfisher Airlines
is proud to introduce Little Wings in association
with Disney Publishing on-board the flights to cater
exclusively to our young guests. So next time when
our little guests travel, they can sink into their
comfortable seats and enjoy their favorite Disney
Characters in-flight," he added.
The contents
for Little Wings will be developed in-house with support
from Disney Academia, Milan and will have something
for everyone - Mickey Mouse and Winnie the Pooh for
the younger guests and Cars, Princesses, High School
Musical, Pirates of the Caribbean and Hannah Montana
for its budding teenage guests. The content of the
magazine, Disney Kids, has been carefully selected
keeping the children's ages in mind and is full of
activities and fun things to do! From coloring pages,
comic strips to little nuggets of information about
their beloved Disney characters. There are posters
kids can pull-out, codes that they can crack and other
super to-do stuff! The Cabin crew on every flight
of Kingfisher Airlines will ensure that the in-flight
magazine is hand delivered to our little Guests on
all its services i.e. Kingfisher First, Kingfisher
Class, Kingfisher Red and International operations
As part of its Little Wings programme, by the end
of the year, Kingfisher Airlines will also provide
in-flight entertainment to its young Guests by showcasing
movies such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Finding Nemo,
Toy Story and television channel properties like Hannah
Montana, Camp Rock, High School Musical on the personalized
video screens available on every seat. A digitized
version of the magazine would be made available on
www.flykingfisher.com and what's more, our little
guests can also write back their views, feedback,
and experience on littlewings@flykingfisher.com. Kingfisher
Airlines has blazed a trail of innovations and introduced
a range of market-firsts that have completely redefined
the whole experience of flying. By elevating its customers
to a level of being 'guests' and not just passengers,
Kingfisher Airlines has endeared itself to consumers.
