Mumbai:
The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Mumbai
police has arrested a suspended police inspector for
his alleged role in a multi-crore e-ticketing scam,
involving Kingfisher Airlines tickets. Mumbai Police
had suspended Assistant Inspector Tushar Ramesh Kadam
in January after the EOW had sent a confidential report
regarding his role. Kadam has become the 18th accused
to be arrested in the Rs.140 million scam. He has
been sent to police custody till April 23 and has
been charged under IPC Sections 120 (b) (criminal
