Deccan Hyderabad-Mumbai flights to begin on Oct.31
Bangalore:
Air Deccan, India's first low cost carrier, on
Saturday announced its plans of starting flights to
Hyderabad from Mumbai and back. The bookings for Hyderabad
' Mumbai - Hyderabad are already open for travel starting
from October 31 till January 31, 2006. "There was
a huge demand for this sector from our passengers
and frequent travelers. Bringing the two important
metros together at the lowest air fares will immensely
benefit local traders, businessmen and tourists,"
Air Deccan Chairman Captain Gopinath said. A 180 seater
Airbus A 320 has been deployed on this sector. It
will fly from Hyderabad at 6.30 p.m. and reach Mumbai
at 7.45 p.m. every day. It will leave from Mumbai
at 8.20 p.m. and reach Hyderbad at 9.35 p.m. Air Deccan
fares on this sector begin at Re 1/- and go up to
Rs 3995/- whereas other airlines fare for the same
sector is Rs 9215/-.
