However, the Railways confirmed on Sunday night that the trains will run as scheduled. It said, "All trains are running as planned." There are 25.83 lakh bookings till June 30. Now on the advance booking is allowed up to 120 days.

Parcels and luggage bookings are also being done. However, passengers are advised to travel light.

  • They are advised to reach the station 90 minutes prior to departure time.
  • The passengers should have confirmed tickets to enter the station.

The 200 trains being run from Monday are apart from the thousands of Shramik trips for migrants and the 30 Rajdhani specials for stranded people.

The 200 trains comprise of AC and non-AC. There are RACs also and those with RACs can board the trains. However, the General compartment also needs reservation of sitting tickets to avoid overcrowding to prevent coronavirus transmission.

With the current phase that began on Monday, the normalisation of rail operations are going to be a graded process. Decision on Duronto, Shatabdi and Garib Rath will be taken in due course.
