A western disturbance and its induced cyclonic
circulation is affecting northwest India. Isolated to scattered rain/thundershower
is likely in western Himalayan region and isolated duststorm/ thundersquall activity
in the plains of northwest India till tomorrow. The maximum temperatures are likely
to remain below normal/ near normal in the plains of northwest India during the
next 3 days. As such heat wave conditions are not likely to develop in the region
during the next 3 days. Heat wave conditions in coastal Andhra Pradesh is also
likely to abate during the next 48 hours. The highest maximum temperature of 45.4°C
in the country was recorded at Churu (Rajasthan). Rain/thundershower
is likely at a few places in Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand
during the next 24 hours and isolated thereafter; isolated duststorm/ thundersquall
is likely in the rest of the region; isolated rain/thundershower is likely over
region; rain/thundershower is likely in a few places in the region till tomorrow
and isolated thereafter; isolated rain/thundershower is likely in Andaman & Nicobar
islands, south Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Lakshadweep; isolated duststorm/ thunderstorm
is likely in Rajasthan; isolated rain/ thundershower is likely in Chhattisgarh
and north Madhya Pradesh;
and,
