Bangalore Metro's Mysore, Magadi Road rail line opens this month
BANGALORE: The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) will open the much-delayed Mysore Road-Magadi Road Metro rail line this month. Trials have been conducted. The Commissioner for Railway Safety (CRS) has cleared the service for run.

Metro officials said the formalities are being completed and the commercial operations will begin on the stretch this month.

BMRCL Managing Director Pradeep Singh Kharola said, “There are still some formalities to be completed as per the CRS’s report and currently, these are underway. We will be starting commercial operations on this stretch within this month. We will disclose the dates of commencing the operations once all formalities are completed,” according to Rail News.

The length of the stretch is 6.4 km stretch. The train will pass through Hosahalli, Attiguppe, Vijayanagar, Mysore Road and Magadi Road.
