LUCKNOW, Feb 13: All colleges and other educational institutions, Government as well as private, will reopen in Uttar Pradesh on February 15, the Government has announced. All the institutions will strictly follow the covid prevention guidelines.
The Higher Education Department has directed all the educational institutions to be fully sanitized before reopening and also arrange for all the facilities required for SOP compliance such as thermal screening, hand sanitisation and maintaining physical distancing within the classrooms and outside. The students will always wear masks and will sit at a distance of six feet.
"All universities, degree colleges and other educational institutions of higher learning across the State will function normally from February 15. These institutions were reopened with restrictions on November 23, 2020," the letter from the Secretary of the Higher Education Department to all the universities said.

Meanwhile, the schools in the State reopened for Classes 6 to 8 on February 10. Classes 1 to 5 will resume on March 1.
