Ancient temples, monasteries dot around Dhauladhar range
Dhauladhar Circuit (Dharamsala-Kangra-Jwalamukhi-Palampur Segment): Dhauladhar Circuit lies on the southern plank of Dhauladhar mountains. The destinations here are Dharamsala, Kangra town, Chamundi, Panj Teerth, Mahakaleshwar, Palampur, Baijnath, Joginder Nagar, Jwalamukhi, Chintpurni, Hamirpur, Deothsidh.
HOW TO REACH
The Dhauladhar Circuit can be accessed from Pathankot in Punjab on the west. It can also be reached from Shimla, Kullu or Manali through Mandi. One can also enter via Chintpurni from Hoshiarpur. Yet another route to access the circuit is Bilaspur-Deothsidh-Hamirpur. Coming from New Delhi, one can also enter from Ambala and Ludhiana. The nearest airports are Gaggal
in Kangra and Bhuntar near Kullu. Private airlines operate flights from New Delhi. There is a narrow gauge rail line from Pathankot.
